What we collect

  • Identity and contact details: name, email, phone, country or emirate.
  • Onboarding checklist answers: professional background, sector, experience, eligibility points, study goals and questions.
  • Programme data: cohort, attendance, assessment and progress records.
  • Payment records (handled by our payment provider — we do not store card numbers).
  • Technical data: IP address, device and basic analytics about site usage.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

To respond to enquiries and assess readiness (legitimate interests / steps prior to contract); to deliver your programme and administer payment (contract); to send programme-related updates (contract) and relevant marketing where you have opted in (consent — withdrawable at any time); to meet accounting and legal duties (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

Service providers acting on our instructions: cloud hosting and database, email delivery, payment processing, video conferencing and analytics. Where you ask us to, we may help with ACFE applications — those are submitted by you to the ACFE directly. We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

We serve students in the UK, India, the UAE and beyond. Where data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum with appropriate safeguards.

Retention

Enquiry and checklist data is kept for up to 24 months from last contact. Student records are kept for the duration of your programme plus 6 years for financial and certification purposes, then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email admissions@cfeglobal.com. If you are unhappy with our response you may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
